teaching.

I love teaching. Guitar technique, voice, performance, all that. Business consulting, too.

    Randall,
I’ve just discovered you on YouTube and think you’re an awesome guitar teacher! I don’t know the first thing about guitar but I want to learn how to play. Do you pass through Cincinnati or Kansas City anytime? I’d love to pick up some lessons from you. Thanks for posting your teaching sessions on YouTube. They’re awesome. You’ve got a great sound.

  3. Hey Randall, Love your music and love your lesson over at Jamplay. Your teaching style is so relaxing, talking your lesson is meditating! I was taught on strumming and had found difficulty moving onto finger style until I came across your lessons. It has really been a break through for me, making me want to pick up the guitar again. Now, over at Jamplay, you only a few toolbox lessons. I am still trying to pickup my skills so I haven’t been learning your capo lessons yet. Are there more of your toolbox lessons out there? More more please! Would you do more at Jamplay and pickup from your last toolbox there? Mostly I like to say thank you.

  4. I have palyed guitar, off and on since 1966. Im now 56 and have had very little formal teaching. So I have struggled through the years learning what I could figure out from books and lead sheets. I some how managed to get enough that I was able to play with our church group but not what I would consider good, just getting by. Often times I would get frustrated enough that I simply put the guitar away. In the past couple of years I heard some thing different to me. Fingerstyle. It recreated that spark of thats what I have to play.
Though I still try to use books, dvds and video, I still couldn’t get it. The struggle continues but I can’t stop looking and reasearching information or that magic some thing. Music theroy was just to confusing to figure out. Recently I signed up with JamPlay and found some useful stuff. ( Now the reason for this comment ) I now have great hope and have already found big improvement in my ability in only a couple of days. Why? Randall Williams music theroy, tool box and capo lessons. I know I have a long way to go to get where I need to be but it finaly makes sence to me. I didn’t realize how much I needed this to be able to make this work.
Thank you for your teaching style, It is enough real stuff with enough relax dont worry about additude for me that I wasn’t getting frustrated because I wasn’t doing it exact. It works for me.
Again, Thank you so much for this huge gift.
Please know that what you do is greatly appreciated.
